Artificial Intelligence (AI) seems to be the current buzzword as everyone seems to be getting into this subject. AI seems to have a role in all fields of engineering science. AI algorithms, especially Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), are becoming an important tool in multi-disciplinary engineering research. In addition, irrespective of platform (or) domain, these algorithms can help analyze complex data, make accurate decisions and forecast, based on that data. It can handle multi-objective problems and provide optimized prediction. The New Education Policy (NEP, 2020) & National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence focused on inclusive AI to encourage core and applied research, which address the need to inculcate AI in the B. Tech curriculum. Also, to start B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with Specialization in AI & ML. Hence, this FDP is devoted to enhance the knowledge on the latest technologies pertaining to AI and ML Algorithms in Multi-disciplinary Engineering Applications. Academicians and industry professional in the concerned field are invited to deliver lectures in the programme.
Objectives of the FDP
 To impart knowledge on Data Analysis using various AI and ML algorithms for multi-disciplinary research.
 To impart knowledge on handling multi-physics and multi-objective optimization problems.
 To impart knowledge on IoT, Industry 4.0, and demonstrate ML product life cycle.
